An immersive fitness and travel year, running September through April. The retreat at La Maison Michelle closes the journey.

FitnessBeach Year 01 runs September 2026 to April 2027. An eight-month programme that starts at a partner gym with the ActivePace check-in, continues with monthly Mind + Body Sessions and Active Hikes through autumn and winter, and closes with the April retreat at La Maison Michelle. Five steps below. The more you show up, the more you get out of it.

Built for every pace.

The Year runs on three tracks. The on-ramp is the same — a partner gym, the ActivePace check-in. The cadence and content of what comes next shifts to match the body and the season of life. Pick the one that's yours, or start in one and move between them.

First time on the trail

The Foundations
track

For members new to a fitness routine or stepping back into one. Slower pace, gentler programming, more onboarding from Donovan and the team.

What it looks like
  • Family-friendly Active Hikes (5 km, flat)
  • Mind + Body sessions on stress, sleep, motivation
  • One-on-one onboarding with Donovan after the check-in
  • April retreat: the regular Barbados week

The Active
track

For members already in routine — the gym regulars, the runners, the long-time FitnessBeach community. Full pace, deeper content, more programming.

What it looks like
  • Standard Active Hikes (8–12 km, varied terrain)
  • Mind + Body sessions on performance, identity, recovery
  • Inter-gym Active Hikes co-hosted with partner facilities
  • April retreat: the regular Barbados week

For elders & their carers

The Elders
track

For members 60+. Most wellness brands skip this lane. FitnessBeach makes it central. Pace is slower, content is different, partners are senior-focused.

What it looks like
  • Slower Active Hikes (3–5 km, rest stops, gentle terrain)
  • Mind + Body on grief, loneliness, mobility, intergenerational connection
  • Modified ActivePace check-in (falls prevention, cognitive health)
  • April retreat: same week, senior-paced programming — yin yoga, beach walks, shared evenings

The treat at the end of the Year

Blissful
Barbados.

Seven days at La Maison Michelle. The villa is yours: pool deck, eight bedrooms, chef on call. Mornings open with yoga on the lawn or open water swims in Carlisle Bay. Afternoons are unscheduled on purpose. Evenings are long and slow. With the people you've already shared a year with.

Once a year at a partner gym: fitness assessment, nutrition consultation, mental-health connection. Three referrals out where they're needed — to a practitioner on the InnaPace directory if it's care, back to your gym if it's training. Step 02 of The Year for every member.
